Hello!

I have never been to Thailand before. I always wanted to see this country because I knew it has incredibly beautiful nature and bright blue water. I saw a lots of pictures and videos of it. So there was no question If I am in Asia I have to visit Thailand. Plus If you are already somewhere in Asia like I was, the flights are very cheap to Thailand. Thailand itself cheap and very easy to find good hotels with good price.

We decided to go to Phuket because we heard Phuket is full with nice beaches and there are many things to do. Sounds perfect, right? Phuket is big and each part of it is different. When we decided where to book our hotel we wanted to be in the center in order to easily reach bars and restaurants and in the same time be close to the beach.

Well maybe we wanted too much. We stayed at Patong area which is super dirty very loud and messy. The beach was okay but for me the streets and the atmosphere was not my taste at all. I hated!😝🙈 If you want something more relaxing book your hotel at Karon or Kata. We spent I think one afternoon at Patong beach and at the area. After we saw it we decided to move somewhere else. We spent one day at Karon, and an other day at Kata beach what we liked more. You can easily go and see these beaches with a tuck tuck taxi. That one is a funny ride, prepare yourself! 😅

Activities in Phuket

I recommend you If you are in Phuket and you have the chance, go and do day trips. I mean If you like to meet people and discover the Island in groups, not alone. Trust me quite fun and not pricey experience. Many companies organize day trips. Usually it’s a package depends what are you interested in. We spent 10 days in Phuket maybe less is enough to see everything but we didn’t know before we booked our trip. However in 10 days we had time for everything. We discovered the whole area I believe we spent 5-6 days just on day trips. Every time different group and different destinations. Very good way to get to know the Thai culture.

For example one day trip includes 2-3 view points, Big Buddha, elephant ride. (What I would never ever do again! This was I think the only negative thing during this tour and It was one of the worse experience in my life to see how people threat these wonderful animals. I don’t want to explain the details now. But I felt I just want to run away at the middle of the “safari”) We visited a honey farm/bee garden and a cashew nut factory. At the end of the day the famous night market.

I liked a lot this night market because I could taste various local dishes. You can find there a lots of cheap stuff like phone cases, t-shirts, bags, souvenirs.

Explore the Islands around Phuket!

On the other trips we visited different Islands and beaches. Like Racha, Coral, the famous James Bond, Phi Phi, Similan, Krabi and some others. These trips includes food, tour guide and diving equipments. I was amazed by the nature. Thailand’s natural abilities are incredible. I just really hope the locals can take care of it and somehow make a limit of visits to these parts and save it for the future generations . 💕🙏🏻

One more thing, what I recommend you to try is the massage! 😍 When you walk on the street you see in every corner a massage place or ladies sitting and inviting people for massage. Okay these places not fancy but the ladies knows their job very well and very cheap. So don’t miss the street massage.☝🏻 😊
